【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversmetalinsertfittingsandcoppercrimpringsforusewithcross-linkedpolyethylene(PEX)tubingin3/8,x00BD;,5/8,x00BE;,1,1x00BC;,1x00BD;,and2in.nominaldiametersthatmeettherequirementsforSpecificationsF876andF877andforusewithpolyethyleneofraisedtemperature(PE-RT)tubingin3/8,x00BD;,5/8,x00BE;and1in.and11/4in.nominaldiametersthatmeettherequirementsofSpecificationsF2623andF2769.Thesefittingsareintendedforusein100psi(689.5kPa)cold-andhot-waterdistributionsystemsoperatingattemperaturesupto,andincluding,180x00B0;F(82x00B0;C).Therequirementsformaterials,workmanship,dimensions,andmarkingstobeusedonthefittingsandringsarealsoincluded.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitswhichareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredthestandard.1.3CompliancewiththisspecificationrequiresthatthesefittingsbetestedandcertifiedtoSpecificationF877whenusedwithPEXtubingandSpecificationF2769whenusedwithPE-RTtubing.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
