【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverssyndiotacticpolystyrenematerialsincludinghomopolymer,copolymers,blends,andimpactmodified,suitableformoldingandextrusion.Recycledproductwillbeaddressedinaseparatestandard.Thisspecificationisintendedtobeameansofcallingoutplasticmaterialsusedinfabricationofenduseitemsorparts.Materialselectionshouldbemadebythosehavingexpertiseintheplasticsfieldaftercarefulconsiderationofthedesignandtheperformancerequiredofthepart,theenvironmenttowhichitwillbeexposed,thefabricationprocesstobeemployed,theinherentpropertiesofthematerialotherthanthosecoveredbythisspecification,andtheeconomics.Thepropertiesincludedinthisspecificationarethoserequiredtoidentifythecompositionscovered.OtherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecializedapplicationscanbecalledoutusingthesuffixesgiveninSection.Note1ThereisnoISOequivalent.
